The mission of the School to Work Program is to connect business to student workers. School to Work provides business with opportunities to develop a highly skilled workforce from within the area high school population. It provides students an easy way to connect to area job opportunities. If you are thinking about a specific career and are interested in getting hands on experience in preparing for that career, then the Germantown School-To-Work Program may be just the route to take!

You could be punching a time clock and learning skills for future employment. As part of the School to Work Program, you can find yourself working in a manufacturing facility or professional business office. Youth Apprenticeships and Co-ops are rigorous and competitive. It's not just a way to escape school for half a day, it will help you prepare for your working future.

These programs are designed to provide high school students with skills that are required to succeed in the workplace. This is why employers throughout Germantown have hired students and invested hundreds of hours training them. Workforce preparedness affects the future of the business community!
